With only two exceptions (Octopussy and A View To A Kill), the first series of Italy sleeves mirror the UK premiere 'pre-certificate' (pre-cert) range. The Italy Octopussy key-art is the same as that which graced the Australia edition (see images, left-bottom).
Two distinct editions of sleeve were produced. The first range have package-copyright dates between 1982 and 1984 (Dr. No through Octopussy), and are identified by the presence of the blue & white Warner Communications logo; two 'format/catalogue box' styles (see image, below) were utilised on these sleeves.
The second edition has a package-copyright date of 1985 and bears the classic Warner Bros. 'shield' logo (see images, below).
